At age 11, the 1977-78 O-Pee-Chee hockey cards were the second season of cards that I collected. I had about 90% of the cards in the set at the time and recently completed the set with the help of other collectors.
These are the players that I followed and have the earliest memories of. 33 players from this season have been inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. Sadly, six of them have already passed on. I am honouring these hockey hero's through this post and a Sprunger NFT on OpenSea. Each player tribute is added to the NFT Certificate in Additional Files.
